Shhhh…. Don’t tell everyone …

As part of our Secret Oxford series of the best things about Oxford, we have compiled the Top 5 best views in Oxford. A little more unusual, a bit off the beaten track. Enjoy.

1. New College Lane

Slip under the Bridge of Sighs and into another era in the only street with no signs of modern 21st century life.

2. Looking down onto Oxford

The view from out of town (Boars Hill just south of the city) down onto Oxford is iconic. The favourite of writers such as Matthew Arnold (“that sweet city with her dreaming spires”) and modern-day romantics alike.

3. Weston Library

Part of the Bodleian with exhibitions, events, great views and tours.  bodleian.ox.ac.uk/Weston

4. Magdalen College

The bluebell woods at this time of year are just magical. magd.ox.ac.uk

5. The Roof at TVC Oxford

In amongst the spires and rooftops of Oxford, with views over the High Street and up to the stars. tvcoxford.co.uk/bookings
